Choose Your Red River Activities
Dining
Compare places to eat using our Red River restaurant guide. Check each restaurant’s current menu, hours and reservation policy. If you plan to cook during your stay, confirm that your selected accommodation has the kitchen facilities you need.
Shopping
It wouldn’t be a vacation if you didn’t bring something back with you, right? Pick up the perfect memento of your mountain getaway, polish up your après ski wardrobe, or find an unexpected treasure for your home at one of the town’s numerous specialty stores or boutiques.
Outdoor Recreation
Choose outdoor activities that suit your group and the conditions. Start with our winter activities guide for snow-season planning or our summer activities guide for warmer-weather ideas. For walking and hiking plans, review the Red River hiking guide and check current trail information before setting out.
Day Trips
If you plan a day trip beyond Red River, choose your destination and route before departure. Check current road conditions, attraction hours and the weather, and leave time to return without rushing. Ask the Lifts West office for help finding current local visitor information.
History
Learn more about the town through the official Red River visitor website. Use its current visitor resources to find local history information and confirm any attraction you plan to visit.
Relaxation
Leave some space in your itinerary for a slower day. Enjoy a meal, browse local shops or take a break at your accommodation between outings. Choose activities that match the pace of your group rather than filling every hour.
Entertainment
Look for current live music and entertainment listings on the official Red River events calendar. Confirm the venue, date and any ticket or age requirements before attending; schedules can change.
Festivals & Events
Check our Red River events guide and the official events calendar when selecting travel dates. Confirm event details with the organizer, then check lodging availability separately for your stay.
