Ski & Snowboard Season

The Red River Ski Area opens for skiing and snowboarding the day before Thanksgiving every year. They operate on an abbreviated schedule during the first few weeks of the season. In December, we open daily and stay open through late March.

Switch on the Holidays
November 28, 2024 - 7pm
Join us for the enchanting “Switch on The Holidays” celebration at Brandenburg Park, where we’ll light up the night with beautiful Christmas trees! Sing along to your favorite holiday tunes and let the spirit of the season fill the air. Watch in awe as the trees twinkle to life, creating a magical winter wonderland. Don’t forget to stop by and meet Santa Claus—he’d love to hear your holiday wishes! Enjoy delicious treats that warm your heart and bring everyone together for a night of festive fun. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors, and let’s make some holiday magic together!
Christmas caroling kicks off at 6:30 PM, followed by the grand lighting at 7:00 PM.

Christmas in the Mountains
December 21-22, 2024
Join us for the second annual Christmas Market at the Red River Conference Center on December 21-22, featuring a delightful array of vendors offering handmade goods perfect for Christmas presents and stocking stuffers. On Saturday at 6 PM, don’t miss the enchanting Light Parade as it lights up Main Street with festive cheer. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the holiday season with family and friends while enjoying the magic of the season.
